Nature: 'James Coffey, Architect' paid £21.13s.6d. in 1822 in connection with erection of steeple.  Stonemason, James Ryan, paid total of £524.16s.6½d for steeple between 1822 and 1824. Steeple described as 'handsome octagonal tower ... added in 1823' by Lewis. (Church and steeple demolished.)
