Scottish-born engineer and contractor, who for the greater part of his career was probably resident in Ireland, where he collaborated with his brothers John and ALEXANDER NIMMO on engineering projects. Nimmo practised as a contractor in Dublin, subsequently moving to the west of Ireland. He died in 1851 at Ballynahinch, Co. Galway,.(1)
