Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of London.   George Jonas Wigley, a founder member of the Society of St Vincent de Paul in England and author of an English translation, published in 1857, of St Charles Borromeo's Instructiones Fabricae et Supellectilis Ecclesiasticae, was an unsuccessful entrant in the competition for the church of SS. Peter and Paul in Cork.(1)
