Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Land surveyor, active in the third and fourth quarters of the eighteenth century, for whom see Sarah Bendall, ed., Dictionary of Land Surveyors and Local Map-Makers of Great Britain and Ireland 1530-1850 (2nd edition, 1997), 189-90.  Richard Frizell was a son of another land-surveyor, Charles Frizell, of Co. Wexford;  his brother Charles was also a land-surveyor.  In 1778 he became agent to the Earl of Ely.
