Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Sculptor, of Dublin.   Gilbert Harrison, a son of CHARLES WILLIAM HARRISON  CHARLES WILLIAM HARRISON and his wife Sophia Lloyd and a much younger brother of CHARLES LLOYD HARRISON  CHARLES LLOYD HARRISON was born in Dublin on 9 June 1876.(1)  He presumably worked in the family firm of C.W. HARRISON & HARRISON & amp; SONS until setting up his own, separate business, G.D. Harrison & Co., sculptors, stone and marble masons, at 31-33 Amiens Street circa 1920.  The business appears to have come to an end after about ten years, appearing in Thom's directory for 1930 but not in that for 1932.
