Architect, of London, for whom see Howard Colvin, A Biographical dictionary of British architects 1600-1840 (4th edn., 2008), 1146. In 1803 Woods was awarded third prize in the competition for converting the Dublin Parliament House into the Bank of Ireland, which was won by FRANCIS JOHNSTON.
