Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Belfast, active in the first and second decades of the twentieth century.   Ambrose Barcroft, son of John Barcroft and his wife, Anna Maria (née Pike), who was born in Co. Armagh on 10 February 1882.  In his 1911 census return he describes hiself as 'Architect', and he is probably the Barcroft who was in partnership with JOHN BARRETT ROBINSON  JOHN BARRETT ROBINSON as BARRETT ROBINSON & BARRETT ROBINSON & amp; BARCROFT  BARCROFT from circa 1907 to circa 1911.  He died on 3 May 1935.
