Ironmaster, of Wexford. James Pierce, who was born in 1813, was a brother of RICHARD PIERCE [1]. H RICHARD PIERCE [1]. H e established the Pierce Iron Foundry in Wexford in 1839. He died in 1868. After his death the business was carried on and developed by the brothers Philip, Martin and John Pierce to become the largest iron foundry in Ireland.
