ZEUGHEER, LEONHARD #
- Born: 1812 Died: 1866
Architect, of Zurich, for whom see Historisches Lexicon der Schweiz and Wikipedia ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonhard_Zeugheer). Leonhard Zeugheer, who was born in Zurich in 1812, was admitted to the Royal Dublin Society's schools of Drawing in Architecture and Landscape & Ornament on 3 November 1831(1) and was awarded a certificate the following year.(2) He presumably came to Dublin while he was studying with THOMAS RICKMAN& #160; in Liverpool, where he had relatives.(3) He also studied in Paris, returning to Zurich in 1835.
