Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineers, of Edinburgh. David Stevenson (1815-1886), the third son of ROBERT STEVENSON ROBERT STEVENSON ,(1) and his younger brother Thomas, were the engineers for new quays at Derry begun in 1856.(2) They may also have been responsible for a new graving dock, built between 1859 and 1860.(3)
