Engineers, of Edinburgh. David Stevenson (1815-1886), the third son of ROBERT STEVENSON ,(1) and his younger brother Thomas, were the engineers for new quays at Derry begun in 1856.(2) They may also have been responsible for a new graving dock, built between 1859 and 1860.(3)
