Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Land surveyor, of Kilkenny and Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow. According to Bendell, Phelan was active in Kilkenny from 1767 to 1770,(1) but his address is given as Leighlinbridge in the will of James Corr, of Ballytobin, Co. Kilkenny, written on 23 December 1775, which names Phelan as his trustee and executor.(2)
