Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Sculptor, of Dublin, for whom see Theo Snoddy, Dictionary of Irish Artists: 20th Century (1996), 73-74, and the entry by Rebecca Minch (under Christopher Campbell) in Dictionary of Irish Biography, ed. by James McGuire and James Quinn, 9 vols. (Cambridge University Press, 2009), II, 282-4.   Laurence Campbell's oeuvre included a number of pieces of architectural and public sculpture. He eventually emigrated to the United States and died in Chicago in 2001.
