Builder, possibly from the Carlow area,(1) who prepared plans and estimates for an Erasmus Smith school in the parish of Dysert, Co. Kilkenny(?) in 1812.(2)

There are several parishes named Dysert or Dysart in Ireland, but the one in Kilkenny which includes two townlands named East and West Coan seems the most likely.
