District clerk of works in Cork for the Board of Public Works from 1868 or earlier until 1890 or later.(1) Drawings signed by him in the Office of Public Works drawings collection in the National Archives include a survey of the Royal Cork Institution dated 1877, a design for alterations to the Telegraph Office in Cobh, also dated 1877, and a design for the chief officer's house at the coastguard station at Dunnycove, Co. Cork, dated 1886.(2) He may be the Arthur Thomas Williams, of Cork, who married Georgina McCarthy in Cork on 18 December 1869.(3)
