Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Dublin, listed as such in Wilson's Dublin Directory for the years 1815 to 1832 with an address at 5 James's Street East. The will of a George Wildridge dated 1828, which names ANDREW WOODS  ANDREW WOODS of 63 Baggot Street as executor, was proved in the Prerogative Court.(1)   This George Wildridge appears to have had at least three daughters: Isabella, who was married first to Andrew Woods and second to Thomas Hozier;  Margaret, wife of GEORGE MARQUIS GEORGE MARQUIS , and Frances, first wife of WILLIAM DUNCAN [2] WILLIAM DUNCAN [2] , who eventually emigrated to Barranquilla, Colombia.(2)
