Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Andrew Weir is named as the architect of a Gothic villa at Warrenpoint, Co. Down, which was built for Henry Newell Atkins in 1866.(1) He may be the same person as the Andrew Weir of Andrew Weir & Sons, builders, painters, paper hangers & glaziers of 4 Sugar House Quay, Newry, who are listed in the Post Office Directory for 1881.(2)
