Architect, perhaps English, who in 1853 prepared designs for laying out part of the Connemara shore with villas 'for the purpose of making an attractive watering place'. The Builder advised the unnamed purchaser of the land 'not to disregard the comforts of the labouring classes who in this locality are well known to be in a wretched state of poverty'.(1)
