Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Builder, of Dublin, whose will was proved on 7 June 1819.(1)   According to the recollections of his fellow tradesmen, Thomas Wall of Sandwith Street  'realized about £1000 a year' and employed thirty men.(2)  He was a subscriber to William Stitt's Practical Architect's Ready Assistant; or Builder's Complete Companion (1819).   A person of the same name was admitted to the Dublin Society's School of Drawing in Architecture in 1792,(3) but see also THOMAS WALL [2]. THOMAS WALL [2].
