Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Scottish-born engineer, resident in London, for whom see obituary in Min.Proc.Inst.CE 22 (1862-1863), 630-634. In 1838 Walker and his partner Burges made designs for Belfast Harbour.(1) Later, in 1844, he produced a report on railway communication with Ireland,(2) and in 1846 another report on the proposed Newry, Warrenpoint & Rostrevor Railway.(3)
