UPTON, S.

In the collection of family papers at Farnham Co. Cavan, there is an undated elevation and plans for a Gothic house, signed by 'S. Upton'.(1) S. Upton may have been an amateur, possibly Sarah Upton (née Cosby), second wife of Arthur Upton, MP, who married Robert, 1st Earl of Farnham, in 1771.
