Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Civil engineer and surveyor, of 67 Amiens Street, Dublin, active in the 1860s. He is probably the engineer named Twemlow who was responsible for the new weir and river widening at Athboy, Co. Meath, in 1866.(1) He appears to have died by 1874, when only a Mrs Twemlow was living at his Amiens Street address. He may be the Henry Twemlow, married to Kate Macklin, whose daughter Nora was born in Dublin on 16 December 1866.(2)
