Architectural partnership, of Belfast, formed in November 1895 when ROBERT GRAEME WATT ROBERT GRAEME WATT took the London architect FREDERICK HENRY TULLOCH FREDERICK HENRY TULLOCH as a partner. Most of their works as recorded in the Irish Builder are commercial buildings in Belfast. In 1905 they won the competition for designing three new public libraries in Belfast, and were awarded £5,000 each. Their pupils included THOMAS ROBERT EAGAR THOMAS ROBERT EAGAR , EDWIN RIDDELL KENNEDY EDWIN RIDDELL KENNEDY and Frederick Cross King (see KING & KING KING & KING ).
From 1901 or earlier WILLIAM HARTLEY PATTERSON WILLIAM HARTLEY PATTERSON worked in the office and had apparently become a partner by the time he left in 1908 or 1909 to emigrate to Canada. In August 1909 his place was taken by Watt's former pupil NICHOLAS FITZSIMONS NICHOLAS FITZSIMONS , after which the practice was known as WATT TULLOCH & FITZSIMONS. WATT TULLOCH & FITZSIMONS.
