Stonecutter, of Dublin. Martin Boe is presumably the 'Martin Poe, stone cutter', who, according to Faulkner's Dublin Journal of 5-7 January 1769, 'having a large and commodious yard adjoining the new dry dock, Lower Abbey Street…continues to carry on the said stone-cutting Trade in all its various Branches'. The will of Martin Boe, stonecutter, of Clarendon Street, Dublin, was proved in the Prerogative Court in 1796.(1)
