Civil engineer, of Belfast, who designed repairs and improvements to the reservoirs at Altevedan, Clogher, Co. Tyrone, in 1903.(1)  Alan Stokes was a subscriber to George Lister Sutcliffe,ed., The Principles and Practice of Modern House-Construction (London, 1898).(2)
