Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Builder or developer, of Dublin, active in the mid-eighteenth century who appears to have built four houses at the north-east end of Molesworth Street(1) and an adjoining block of nine houses on the west side of Kildare Street between Molesworth Street and Stable Lane.(2) The authors of the Georgian Society Records date the Molesworth Street houses to circa 1730, for reasons which are not given. These houses appear on Roque's map of 1756 but the Kildare Street houses do not.

The will of an 'upholder' named George Spring was proved in the Prerogative Court in 1783.(1)
