Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

The George Smith, junior, architect and civil engineer, of 32 Upper Arthur Street, Belfast, who appears in the 'List of Subscribers for the year ending April 30th, 1853' which prefaces the first volume of the Architectural Publication Society's Dictionary, was presumably the son of GEORGE SMITH [2]. A M GEORGE SMITH [2]. A M r Smith of Belfast designed a water supply scheme for Wexford in 1863(1) and for Warrenpoint, Co. Down, in 1864.(2)
