Resident engineer to the Waterford Harbour Commissioners in the early 1820s, listed as such in Pigot & Co.'s City of Dublin and Hibernian Provincial Directory (1824), 319.(1) William Musgrave is mentioned by the Rev. R.H. Ryland in his History, Topography and Antiquities…of Waterford (1824), as having proposed a method for draining land at Kilbarry, Co. Waterford(2) and as being 'engaged in the superintendence of the Waterford bridge'.(3)
