Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Painter-stainer and plasterer, of Dublin, whose will was proved in the Prerogative Court in 1726.(1) There appear to have been two persons of this name, presumably a father and son.(2) The elder was responsible for 'painting, guilding and plastering worke…in and about the Tholsell' during the 1680s.(3) His will was proved in 1701, THOMAS BURGH  THOMAS BURGH being named as one of his executors.(4) The younger worked at Dublin Castle between 1705 and 1707.(5)
