Architect and civil engineer, of Enniskillen. According to the 1901 and 1911 Irish censuses, William Scott, eldest son of Robert Scott, farmer, of Derryhoney, Lisbellaw, Co. Fermanagh, was born in Co. Fermanagh some time between 1861 and 1864. By 1914 he had been appointed surveyor and architect for a labourers' housing scheme at Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh, but had been dismissed before the contract was sealed.
Scott's date of death is not known. At the time of the 1911 census, he had been married for five years and had a son and two daughters.
