Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer and architect, of Eyre Square, Galway. Matthew Sarsfield, who had an engineering (BE) degree, was active in Galway from 1923 or earlier until 1939 or later. He was appointed architect to the Co. Galway Homes Committee in 1928.(1)

ICEI: elected associate member, 4 May 1925;(2) transferred to member , 2 November 1931;(3) no longer on list of members for June 1942.
