Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Contractor and town surveyor of Ballymoney, Co. Antrim.   According to the 1911 census, Abert McMaster was born in Belfast in 1867 or 1868.  He was appointed town surveyor of Ballymoney circa 1902 and was also engineer to Ballymoney Rural District Council.   He died in 1929.   At the time of the 1911 census he had been married to his wife, Elizabeth S. McMaster, for thirteen years and had a son and a duaghter.   He was a freemason.(1)
