Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect of Portrush, Co. Antrim, and Dungiven, Co. Derry. According to the notices of his work in the Irish Builder, Macartney was working from Portush in 1900 and from Dungiven in 1903; his name is given as 'R. Macartney & Son' in 1900. The son in question was probably  SAMUEL GILMORE MACARTNEY.& SAMUEL GILMORE MACARTNEY.& #160;
