Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

'CE' and architect, of Ballymena, Co. Antrim.   According to the 1911 census, Francis Joseph McCann, son of Hugh McCann, builder, of Ballymena, and his wife, Ellen, was born in Ballymena in 1881 or 1881. He appears to have been working in Derry circa 1902 but by 1910 had returned to Ballymena.  At the time of the 1911 census he was still unmarried and living with his parents.
