Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Andrew Joseph Moran, who, according to the 1901 census was born in Dublin in 1845 or 1846, was admitted a student of the RIAI on 17 April 1873.(1)   He was later in practice at 207 Great Brunswick Street, moving in 1896 to 3 South Frederick Street.(2)   At the time of the 1901 census he was living with his wife, two daughters and two sons, one of whom, Edward, was his assistant, while the other, Michael, was apprenticed to a civil engineer.
