Bronze-founders of Osne-le-Val, Haute Marne, France, who made the bronze figures installed at the entrance of the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin, in 1866 or 1867.(1) The foundry, established by Victor André in 1833 and acquired from his widow by his pupil Gustave Barbezat, became one of the most famous art foundries in France.(2)
