Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Engineer to the Co. Westmeath Board of Health in the 1930s.(1) Thomas J. Menton can probably be identified as the eldest son of PATRICK MENTON PATRICK MENTON , who, according to the 1901 census of Ireland, was born in Co. Westmeath in 1897 or 1898.   He was active in Co. Westmeath from at least 1916(2) and succeeded Patrick Menton as an assistant county surveyor for Westmeath on a temporary basis in 1933.(3)
