Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

English architect, for whom see Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), II, 83. On 27 February 1901 the Irish Builder reported that 'Mr H.A. Luke of Newbridge' had 'just won' an architectural competition for a new pavilion at Fleetwood, Lancashire, suggesting that Luke originated from or was working in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.(1)
