Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Dublin, active in the second decade of the nineteenth century. Robert Barnes was principal clerk in the office of the Architect and Inspector of Civil Buildings. In a memorial dated 1814, he gives details of his seven years' architectural apprenticeship.(1)
