JOHNSTON, WILLIAM [2]

Architect. William Johnston [2], who was born in 1769, was the elder of the two sons of WILLIAM JOHNSTON [1]  WILLIAM JOHNSTON [1] by his second wife, Rachel Dickson. He was the half-brother of RICHARD JOHNSTON [1]  RICHARD JOHNSTON [1] and FRANCIS JOHNSTON FRANCIS JOHNSTON . He is presumably the 'William Johnson, architect, Armagh' who subscribed to the Anthologia Hibernica in 1793 and 1794. He died in 1797.
