Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Johnston is described as 'the Architect of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners' in 1841.(1) A drawing by him for a gallery and stairs for Tyholland church, Co. Monaghan, in the Representative Church Body archives(2) is dated 1844.
