Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Carpenter, of Dublin. Leonard Buckley was paid in connection with work the barracks at Castlebar, Ballinrobe, Foxford and Belleek in September 1753(1) and was one of the signatories to the report in support of Thomas Eyre, published by Eyre in A Reply to the report of the commissioners and others upon the condition of Dublin barracks (1760).(2) He was one of the the three representatives of the Guild of Carpenters on the Common Council of Dublin from 1756-1759.(3)
