Engineer, of Derry City. John James Stewart Barnhill,, who was born on 25 May 1869, was educated at Londonderry Academical Institution from 1877 to 1885 and at Magee College for a further year. After serving a five-year apprenticeship with HUME BABINGTON HUME BABINGTON , he went into into private practice in Derry in 1891. He was engineer to Derry Rural District Council from 1903 or earlier.
ICEI: elected member, 1 March 1911; no longer on list of members for 1922-23.
