Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

English woodcarver, of Sheffield, England, active from the 1850s until the 1880s. Arthur Hayball, who was born in Sheffield in 1823, carried out some work in Ireland, mainly in association with GEORGE GOLDIE. I GEORGE GOLDIE. I n the British census of 1881 he is described as employing eight men and two boys.(1) His papers are in the Sheffield City Archives.(2)
