Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

County surveyor for Co. Leitrim, 1836-1857. Thomas Dugall Hall was appointed to the county surveyorship of Co. Leitrim in October 1836, in succession to NOBLETT ROGERS ST LEGER NOBLETT ROGERS ST LEGER . He died at 108 Dorset Street, Dublin, on 12 January 1857, leaving a widow and 'large family'; his only fault, according to the notice of his death in the Leitrim Journal was that he was too open-hearted.(1) He was succeeded by JAMES BUTLER PRATT JAMES BUTLER PRATT . His pupils and assistants included VALENTINE BROWNE.  VALENTINE BROWNE.
