Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Assistant county surveyor for Co. Mayo.   According to his 1911 census return, Patrick Joseph Garvey  was born in Co. Mayo in 1873 or 1874.    He had been appointed an assistant county surveyor for Co. Mayo by 1900 and was still in the post in 1911.   At the time of the 1911 census he had been married for ten years and had five surviving children.
