Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Roman painter, responsible for the decoration of the upper and lower walls of the Church of St Francis Xavier, Upper Gardiner Street, Dublin. In the same church he executed four scenes relating to the life of St Ignatius in the Ignatian Chapel and paintings of the Immaculate Conception in the Lady Chapel. Gagliardi also carried out paintings in the clerestory of the chapel at Clonliffe College, Dublin.(1)
