Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architectural and engineering partnership of Dublin, formed between PATRICK JOSEPH FOLEY  PATRICK JOSEPH FOLEY and JAMES WILLIAM O'SULLIVAN  JAMES WILLIAM O'SULLIVAN circa 1919. Foley & O'Sullivan practised first from 35 Exchequer Street,(1) moving in the latter half of 1922(2) to Grafton Chambers, 102 Grafton Street. The partnership appears to have come to an end circa 1932. O'Sullivan continued to practise from Grafton Chambers, while Foley moved to premises in Lower Abbey Street. Foley's connections with Cos. Carlow and Wicklow accounts for the fact that many of the partnership's commissions came from that area of the country.
