Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of Dublin.   According to the 1911 census, Samuel Cockburn was born in Co. Tyrone in 1876 or 1877.  He was living at 2 Auburn-ville, Rathgar, from 1896 or earlier until 1900 or later. A surveyor named John Cockburn lived at the same address. By 1911 he was living with two older sisters at 9 Avondale Terrace, Harold's Cross, where he remained until at least 1922.
