Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Architect, of London, for whom see Directory of British Architects 1834-1914 (RIBA 2001), I, 991. In the early 1890s James Howard Ince made designs for alterations to Abbey Leix, Co. Laois, for the fourth Viscount De Vesci. His design for a chimneypiece and inglenoon for the study (1892) was carried out, but his plans for a new porch, entrance front, entrance hall and main staircase were not executed.(1)
