Dictionary of Irish Architects 1720 - 1940

Amateur artist. According to a note in the Irish Builder of 15 June 1866, the Countess of Desart, a daughter of the first Earl of Cawdor, painted the stained-glass east window in the Church of Ireland church at Burnchurch, Co. Kilkenny, which was put up in 1886 in memory of her husband, William Ulick O'Connor, fourth Earl of Desart, who had died the previous year.(1)
